It all started with Lars Ulrich placing an ad in a paper, and since 1981 Metallica have released thrash metal albums with such aggressive intensity, and have earned their place as one of the biggest heavy metal bands in the world. Their 'Hit the Lights' beginnings in Los Angeles ignited the band's success, and with band member dramas and disagreements not stopping them, have still come out on top with mass vigour. They have released epic albums ranging from early work like 'Kill 'Em All' and 'Ride The Lightning' via '...And Justice For All' and 'Metallica' through to the latest release 'Death Magnetic' Their current 'World Magnetic Tour' is in its second year, and they're still thrashing their mass repertoire of tunes, with classics like 'One', 'Seek & Destroy' and 'Enter Sandman' matching their fiery stage presence to packed out stadiums all over the world.
