Comments about Majesty 2 (PC):
Not the most taxing of games but pleasant and enjoyable for a relaxing hour or two. Tend to set up instructions and sit back and watch.
Very similar to many other games of building up your town type games.
Can be quite repetitive.

Comments about Majesty 2 (PC):
The concept here is appealing -- an RTS game where micro-management of units depends on the incentives you provide those units (controlled through different types of flags to which you assign monetary values). And when you first start playing, and despite the old-fashioned graphics and sub-average story line, there is the sense that the game could be great fun. But things soon get stale pretty quick. Every mission seems to involve variants of the same old basic formula. Further, the difficuly level escalates pretty quickly. Soon monsters are spamming at a rapid rate, reaching the point where it is time to reload and try another variant on the basic strategy.
I completed 15 of the 16 missions in the main campaign -- I gave up on the last which was just far too dificult, and by that time I was too bored to explore the necessary variants need to succeed. And of the dozen or so stand-alone missions, I only ever completed one.
In summary, that was about 30 hours of my life that I will never get back.
