Description

James Cameron is no stranger to large-scale projects. This is why James Cameron wanted to make ‘Avatar: The Game’ from inside the cinematic ideas that we have, and aim for a new experience. With a massive collaboration between the filmmakers and game designers. The story of Avatar surrounds the world of Pandora, an alien world that resembles that of a Garden of Eden. Humans have come to the planet to extract resources to bring back to Earth. But the native Na’vi aren’t pleased with the new visitors pillaging.

You’ll have a choice to make in this third-person adventure game: Are you a human, or a Na’vi? Using cloaking devices and with advanced military technology on your side like airstrikes, taking charge of Ryder - an RDA trooper – hands you the duty to take down resistant Na’vi warriors to get the resources to bring back to Earth. Or play as the human who controls a Na’vi warrior, who starts to side with the natives, fighting the plague of humans coming to destroy Pandora.

The gameplay is more strategic, involving more melee combat and sneak attacks, using the elements and environment to your benefit. It’s machine versus monster. With RPG elements, stunning visuals and a plethora of colours, you’ll be a part of the world of Pandora from day and night.

The multiplayer on the game is fast-paced. Players will choose sides and fight large-scale battles that plays like a third-person Halo game, with deathmatch, capture the flag, and more.

Comments about James Cameron's Avatar: The Game (Xbox 360):

having seen the movie i was very hyped up for the game....sadly i found the levels too easy to complete, all the challenges were very simple...this game is definatley for kids to play, possibly for kids up to 10yrs of age,any older may find the game too boring and lacking the excitement expected for this game.

Comments about James Cameron's Avatar: The Game (Xbox 360):

I loved themovie Avatar, so when i got my ps3 and it came with Avatar i was so exicted. The campaign is completly different from the movie and after a few missions it got really boring. really fast. I then decided to play multiplayer, there wereonly a hand few of maps and only a few different game modes. Deathmatch was fun, for about half an hour, then it too got amazingly boring. After trying the other multiplayer game modes, and getting incredibly bored of the lousy campaign i sooon reallised, This is just another cash-in movie game. I would not anybody above about 15, but any age below i think would quite enjoy the simple gameplay and basic storyline.
