Initially got a bit frustrated, game stuck on a few occasions but it has more than made up for it with the many hours I have spent playing it. Excellent storyline, plenty of side missions. having played it a second time find that there are items and places I never saw the first time around. The game of the year edition comes with masses of downloadable content missions that will keep you going for hours and hours (if not days) and with its current price has got to be the best value game on tha merket currently. I highly recommend this game

This game is extrememly engaging as the gamer creates many different plots based on decisions made during conversations. This leads to the game never geing boring as you can play it many times and still carry out a completely different story line. The map is Hugantic! Really amazing except the game does not explain a lot to the player about how to actually play and this is left to either work out by experamenting or looking up which is still all fine

Highly addictive. Once I picked it up, I just had to finish it - the storyline was very engaging. The VATS combat system (allows player to pause and aim particular body parts) makes it enjoyable for a casual gamer who doesn't want too much intensity, but gore and satisfaction in the same time.
The expansion packs' storyline are less engaging however, and seems a bit repetitive. Also, companions are sometimes so good they take the challenge out of the game, especially if you like stealth. Better to go solo or hard mode.

This game is lifechanging , having spent well over 100 hours exporing there is still more to do. The graphics are superb, gameplay just awesome , and I defy you not to fall in love with the music ! Be warned , you will lose days to this game !

Being a fan of the first two Fallout games I was really looking forward to this. With the success of Oblivion my expectations where high as well. Fallout 3 not only lived up to my expectations but surpassed them! This is a really solid game and a role playing must for the xbox. Also comes with a bunch of add ons to make this already massive game that much bigger!
