Comments about Dragon Age: Origins (PC):
Developed by the renowned Bioware, Dragonage: Origin takes the genre of medieval RPG to a new level.
To start off, facial customisation during character creation was very comprehensive and real. Character statistics were simplified to be newcomer friendly (altough admittedly, this renders D&D veterans in dark of the combat). Graphic was very well designed and presented; from the medieval noble castle, to the wilds tainted with corruption, to the Brecilian forest filled with mysteries and werewolfs. Conversation between party members are very witty, and they do add to characters' personalities. Skill and talent trees are vast and there are alot of combinations to go through, which in some way, enhances the replayability. Each race/background combination offers a different set of prologues. It is definitely rewarding to play the all the origin stories just to experience the world.
Voice acting is a bit of so-so. There are certain great VA's. But there are some which are just lacking. Whilst the storyline is great and grand. It felt a little bit short and generic. Not a huge let down though. The fact that there are only 3 races and 3 classes to choose from narrows the choises somewhat. Though I guess each additional race demands new origin storyline to be added, which can be a lot of work. Another minor let down is the inability to customise other features than facial. So everyone in the world has similar height, fat content and shoe sizes. But then again it's only a minor let down.
Overall though, the strength of Dragonage: Origin definitely outweighs the minor let downs. A must get for RPG fan.

Comments about Dragon Age: Origins (PC):
Only for the serious RPG fan. This is NOT a Diablo / Borderlands type RPG. Be prepared to listen/read lots of dialogue and make choices that affect the outcome of the game.
