Blood Bowl (Xbox 360)

Blood Bowl started as a Fantasy Football game designed by Games Workshop as a violent parody to American Football. The difference is how one delivers the bowl to the end zone. Instead of simply passing the opposition, one might want to attack the player, injuring or even eliminating the opposition literally.

Utilising the turn-based elements of the board game, the video game incorporates real-time strategy into the equation. Create and customise your team and assign skill points to your players, but don’t get upset if they can’t return to play another game.

Different playing fields and different game modes, like turn-based strategy only, make this game a choice for traditional and new players to the strategy games. Play the game with friends at home with the hot seat option, or play online in tournaments and climb the online ranking ladder.
