Description
Like the first one, you can decide whether to harvest Little Sisters for ADAM power, or instead adopt them. This time around, Little Sisters will ride on the back of you, hopping off once they find a body with ADAM to harvest.
Weapons have gotten more advanced this time around, with the ability to use plasmids and weapons at the same time, as well as a shoulder dash move. The upgrade trees will allow levelling up of the plasmid skills that you’ll encounter in the game. With the diving suit of the Big Daddy, you’ll be able to step outside the city of Rapture, into the mid-Atlantic ocean that surrounds the underwater city.
The graphics have been knocked up another notch, and gameplay has become more fast-paced than the original. Multiplayer’s been incorporated into the sequel, taking on the role as a Rapture citizen. Set a year before the original BioShock, you’ll fight in the Rapture Civil War. Your character unlocks more weapons and plasmids as you progress.

Comments about Bioshock 2 (PC):
IMHO, the game is all about fight, move and fight some more - usually mixed with die a couple times. Not much variance or ability to change direction that you need to go. Maybe comparisons against MOH or COD are tainting. For a first-person shooter, or hacker in this case, it is okay.

Comments about Bioshock 2 (PC):
Sequels generally don't come up to par of the originals, Bioshock 1 was one of the best games, Bioshock 2 comes close. You have the feeling of been there done that, used that and killed that quite frequently. Bioshock 2 does have the feel of Bioshock Part 2 rather than a new game. Graphics haven't changed (IMHO) since Bioshock 1 but the advantage here is you don't need a super computer to run it on the top settings and there is no slow down, ever. The game is fun and humorous. If you loved the first one, definitely get this and the enjoyment will be there all over again.
The AI has improved, the enemies take cover etc. The tough enemy do make life very hard, but like BS1, if you play smart you get rewarded. The additional weapons have additional trap settings so planning can be more fun for.
The good points of BS1 are still there and added to this are new weapons, very good scripting and a great atmosphere to make you jump from time to time.
All in all a great continuation from BS1 and worth buying.

Comments about Bioshock 2 (PC):
This game is pretty good but sometimes it can be a bit hard because they throw a lot more enemies at you compared to what they did it the first game (Bioshock). However this is easily overcome by the amount of different traps you can set up and ammo you find. The game adds to the first of the series and opens up new areas and uncovers more parts of the story to Rapture although there isn't as much detail as the first in the series it is still pretty great story wise. Overall I'd say this game has a great story is enjoyable and I'd definitely recommend it.

Comments about Bioshock 2 (PC):
Simply put if you loved the first bioshock and want more of the action from the origninal you will love this. They cut back a little on the story in order to bring bigger gunplay into action. That's not to say the story is bad, it's just not as startling as the first time. The game takes place in rapture again so the first hour or two gives a sense of deja vu but really comes into it's own after that. This sequel also offers a surprisingly good multiplayer mode that can be great fun utilizing both guns and the plasmids for some strategic play.
