Description
Carl Fredricksen’s life as a toy balloon salesman and zookeeper with the love of his life turns sour when his wife falls ill and passes away. Wanting to fulfil the dream his wife and he had of living at the waterfall cliff of Paradise Falls, he ties thousands of balloons to his house to lift it from the ground to float away. Unfortunately he isn’t alone. There’s a boy scout determined to get his very last badge by ‘assisting the elderly’, who seems to have tagged along for the ride.
You can expect more of the same inspirational craftsmanship from the detail gone into every backdrop, character and situation with brilliant results. The film has won two Academy Awards for ‘Best Animated Feature’ and ‘Best Original Score’, and considering that this film still manages to make the toughest of viewers teary-eyed, you won’t regret owning this beautiful film.

Comments about Up:
A thoroughly entertaining, moving film, that manages to leave the audience inspired and optimistic. Definitely not just a kids' movie, Up is visually terrific, well put together, and crams a lot of great storytelling into a relatively short time. Pixar have produced a gem here.

Comments about Up:
Up is one of the best movies that came out in 2009. It is moving and exciting, wondrous and funny. The story follows an old man finally fulfilling his dream of going to South America to have an adventure by making his house float with helium balloons. A young boy scout gets caught up in his adventure too. Up is for all ages, not just for children.

Comments about Up:
As i said before this is a must have for all Pixar fans, Pixar keep exceeding their previous offering. One of the best movies of all time and rightly deserves an Oscar Nomination. Up is for all ages.
Like all Pixar movies, the dvd editions are all loaded with special features which would include games and movie shorts.
